Safety of Porcilis PRRS vaccine in piglets

Porcilis PRRS is safe for the vaccination of piglets.

Most experiments regarding safety have been done in 5 and 6 weeks old animals. However, it was demonstrated and concluded that Porcilis PRRS could safely be given to piglets as young as 2 days of age. In these 2-day old piglets no adverse effects were observed after vaccination.
